The instrument has two parts, UV365(or UV420) and reading unit. The two parts can be connected by cable using plug and socket.

The function of each key on the left as follows,

• Power: connected state after pressing; off-state after raising this button.
• Hold: data keep state after pressing, data sampling state after raising this button.(please raising this button when do measurement)
• UV365 please pressing this button when uses 365 probe(raising UV420 button)
• UV420 please pressing this button when uses 365 probe(raising UV420 button)

1. First please press the “power" button when do Ultraviolet irradiation degrees measurement. You need press the “UV365"(or UV420) button and the selected range button(note: please do not press “UV365" and “UV420" at the same time).
2. Then connect the 365 probe(or 420 probe) to the socket of the reading unit. Open the probe cover and put the photosurface of probe on the measure position. So the product of digital displayed on widow and range factor is irradiance value (unit: μW/cm2).
3. If want to keep the data, you can press “hold" button ( note, please press the “hold" button after raising range buttons). Raise the “hold" button after reading the value, recovering to sampling state.
4. Cut off the power button after measuring.
5. If there is “1" on the left of display window, this means irradiance value overload or means that press the “hold" button mistakenly before pressing range buttons. This moment, please press larger range button or raising “hold button.
6. When it shows “LOBAT" symbol on top left of display window, please change the battery.

Please store the instrument in a clean environment, temperature (0~40)℃ and humidity <85%RH to avoid any damage.
