The Type B Magnetic Particle Testing Block (also referred to as the 12‑hole DC Test Ring) is equivalent to the American BETZ Ring.
It is used to verify the overall performance (system sensitivity) of magnetic particles and magnetic suspensions in magnetic particle testing equipment, as well as to evaluate the suitability of testing conditions and operating procedures. It is applied when the magnetization specification, magnetic field direction, and effective magnetization range cannot be determined.
This Type B test block is designed for verifying the comprehensive performance of magnetic particles under DC or three‑phase full‑wave rectified magnetization current.
